Snow Removal Techs choose shifts: 3am - 7am weekdays and/or 3am - 7pm weekends Plow Operators choose 3am-7pm any or all days Opportunities for year-round employment, with a salary option! *Ask about eligibility - typically All-Season (year-round) employees Seasonal Hourly Full Time The Irrigation Technician assists Irrigation Crew Leader to ensure that the irrigation systems are properly working and adjusted, producing healthy lawns and plants, while maintaining BSS’ expectations. TACTICAL WORK 1. Conducts start ups and tests irrigation systems 2. Checks sprinkler system clocks and accurately adjusts accordingly 3. Performs irrigation repair and renovation work with safety, quality and efficiency, without any leaks 4. Troubleshoots and locates any problems with systems 5. Assists Irrigation Crew Leader in performing regular irrigation system audits 6. Cleans up job site after repairs are conducted 7. Demonstrates safe use of equipment, irrigation materials (including adhesives), and tools 8. Drives (and backs-up) truck and trailer to/at worksites 9. Accurately logs work into Aspire 10. Exhibits willingness to work on any company crew (BSS prefers and provides opportunities for year-round employment MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. 18 years of age or older 2. Legal, valid, unrestricted, driver's license 3. Work through October 31st is strongly preferred 4. Basic irrigation knowledge preferred and a willingness to learn PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORKING CONDITIONS 1. Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling 2. Lifting and raising objects up to 55 pounds from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position, to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles 3. Fingering, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion 4. Talking and hearing 5. Subject to changing environmental conditions, including small and/or wet spaces
