Bio-One of Louisville is searching for workers who wish to supplement their income without committing to a full-time work schedule. Bio-One is a local biohazard remediation business that serves those who are in need of extreme cleaning services. We currently schedule random jobs for which we need a crew of strong hard workers. These jobs usually consist of collecting and disposing of both large and small items and can include various levels of cleaning as well. Jobs can be frequent or rare depending on the season. The top employee requirements are as follows. -PROMPT COMMUNICATION - A reliable cell phone and prompt communication is a must. I don't expect my workers to be available for every job, but I do expect them to read their messages and respond in a timely manner so that I can plan accordingly. We also have an occasional emergency job, so I count on my workers to respond quickly. -RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION - Each job takes us to a different work site, both residential and commercial. Employees must be dependable to arrive on their own and on time to a given local address. -A STRONG BACK - This job is physically strenuous. We often work in challenging conditions for eight hour days. It is paramount that my workers are able to continue working within various weather conditions and through arduous physical labor. There will be a lot of lifting and hauling. -A STRONG STOMACH - Because of the nature of this business, conditions are not always favorable. Occasionally my crew will come across human or animal waste or even a dead carcass of an animal. Employees must be mature enough to approach these situations with composure. I never want my clients to feel shame from anyone on my crew. We are hired to help these clients out of these situations, not to pile humiliation upon them. Proper PPE is provided for each job to keep everyone safe. -A STRONG WORK ETHIC - I’m looking for people who will show up to work when they commit to a job and work hard when they are there. Please do not respond if you have a pattern of unreliability. I treat my employees very well because I want to hang on to those who are honest, reliable, and hard working.
