We currently have both Full and Part time positions available. Summary: Help maintain and clean Student Dormitories and Classrooms. Daily: • Clean counters, stovetops, and cabinets in/out. • Clean toilets • Clean sinks • Spot cleans walls • Empty trashes • Mop floors, spot mop as needed. • Sweep floors • Clean under radiators, dust wall heaters, and dust vents as needed. • Change tin foil in oven and stove drip pans as needed. • Spot clean walls Weekly: • Clean front and back door windows in/out as needed. • Count and bag laundry for linen service. • Inventories packaged, clean linen. • Put clean linen in closets. • Sweep porches front and back as needed. • Vacuum Common areas and stairs. • Spot clean carpets and walls. • Dust furniture, blinds, fire extinguishers, and flash lights. • Mop floors Deep Cleaning: During semester breaks after students have departed • Move and clean under and behind all furniture and appliances. • Dust all furniture • Clean all woodwork including hallways and stairs. • Clean out drawers • Clean blinds • Wash inside of windows and window sills. • Spot clean walls • Wash bedding • Inventory linen when directed. • Clean mirrors • Dust, vacuum, and mop floors. • Spot clean carpet and rugs • Clean under all sinks and inside cabinets. • Clean blinds • Clean stoves, refrigerators, and microwaves. • Other duties assigned by Lead Housekeeper or Facilities Director. Physical Requirements: Some lifting and carrying of items of not more than 25 pounds. Pulling, kneeling, and twisting may be required for short periods of time. The ability to go up and down four flights of stairs multiple times a day.
