Asphalt/Concrete Sawcutter incumbent must be able to successfully handle the physical and mental challenges of the job; work cooperatively with Superintendents/Project Managers/Crews; exercise respectful and courteous behaviors towards fellow employees as well as the Company customers and the general public; will both work independently and on crews; will take direction from Superintendents/Project Managers for all work. Must have a valid drivers license and maintain an acceptable driving record as a condition of hire/continued employment. Physical Requirements of Position • Climb up and down ladders, machinery, and other objects; • Push, pull, reach, and frequently carry objects such as tools, materials and equipment weighing up to 80lbs; • Load and unload tools and equipment on truck; • All work is outdoors and subject to inclement weather conditions; • If/when choosing to use a respirator (optional for outdoor work) must maintain fitness readiness. • Must complete two courses specific to sawcutting work: Silica & Respirator Protection; • Must complete a Respirator Fitness Questionnaire and Fit Test by approved medical facility;
