IF INTERESTED IN THIS POSITION PLEASE APPLY AT: Essential Job Functions: Washes dishes using a commercial dishwasher. Puts clean dishes and utensils away in their proper locations. Clears, cleans and prepares dining areas. Takes out garbage and recycling at prescribed times. Keeps kitchen, walk-in and pit areas clean and assist with putting deliveries away. Maintains sanitation standards by sanitizing prep areas before and after use and makes sure that all critical equipment is kept clean. Sets-up and stocks stations with necessary supplies, continues to restock supplies for line cooks throughout the day. Ensure food/merchandise is properly stocked, labeled, and rotated in workstations and throughout the kitchen Must remain friendly and service oriented, even during times of long lines and high traffic. Ensure a clean, organized, safe, and respectful environment for guests and employees. Confront and resolve difficult situations in a proactive, objective, professional, and solution-oriented manner. Embrace change by being open to new ideas. Communicate effectively with individuals, groups, peers, management, and the general public. Maintains food knowledge on all Bob’s Red Mill offerings and confidently and accurately communicating that knowledge to customers. Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner. Complies with Bob’s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Performs other tasks and duties as assigned. Be willing to assist in other departments as needed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to move quickly and work in a fast paced environment. Qualifications: Previous experience in a commercial kitchen preferred. Must be available weekends. Must be able to obtain/possess a Food Handler’s Card Physical Demands: Position requires continued walking or standing for long periods up to 2 hours at a time or more. Position requires the ability to bend, squat, and climb stairs frequently. Position requires the ability to lift products weighing up to 50 pounds. Work Environment: The primary work environment for this position is within a large commercial kitchen utilizing a commercial dishwasher. Indoors may encounter temperatures ranging from 32 degrees F. within a cooler to 425 degrees F. around cooking equipment. Exposure to heat and high humidity around dishwasher. Outdoors may encounter varied temperatures and weather while clearing and cleaning tables. Employees will be exposed to common food allergens.
