COMPANY - My Ground focuses on landscaping and construction installations for residential clients in Central Oregon. We do grading, hardscaping, irrigation, planting, rock work, buildings, remodels, decks, water features, hot tubs, lighting, etc. We pride ourselves in complicated orchestrations that are beautiful, live long, and coordinate many skill sets. We place a high value on artistic poignancy as well as technical accuracy. My Ground is a small and growing company with room for individuals to grow with us. POSITION - Landscaping Assistant is a level 2 position with more experience than General Labor. In this position you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of landscape installations. This will range from general labor, to assisting with the various elements of a project, to maintaining the tools and equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining your personal readiness. We will allow you space to expand and support that expansion with knowledge and training. REQUIREMENTS - Motivation - Punctuality - Ability to lift 60 pounds - Oregon driver license - Ability to work outdoors in a variety of conditions - At least two years of experience in the trades SKILLS – Experience is some of these areas - Groundwork: trenching, terrain shaping, grading - Hardscaping: pavers, retaining walls - Irrigation: pipe gluing, field irrigation sprinkler and bubblers - Planting: installation - Construction: various - Overhead: cleaning, organization COMPENSATION - Compensation is based on a variety of criteria.
