HAWKERS needed for Hawktails Mobile Bevvies Date: July 19, 2022 (Train / Jewel / Blues Traveler / Thunderstorm Artis) Times: Arrive @ 4:30 / Doors @ 5 / Show @ 6 / Out @ approx 9:30 Job Description: Show up ready to work at “home base” Do inventory Ice product (ready to drink cocktails, beer, water) Load product into handheld cooler box with strap or into cooler on wheels Learn handheld credit card machine operation Move product in box or cooler to entrance of venue. For the 1st hour after doors open, actively promote company and our purpose as people arrive by being friendly, warm, and outgoing (example “Come see me when you’re thirsty!” – you want them to look for you or another Hawker when they want a drink). Actively sell canned drinks, moving throughout venue, especially selling to people standing in line at other bars and especially selling during breaks in show. Return to home base to refill box or cooler and return to actively selling; repeat. At designated end time, return to “home base” to empty box or cooler and do inventory. Pay: $50 flat via paypal within 24 hours to show up & your own (not pooled) credit card tips within 7 days ***no cash*** (so far tips have been between $100-$300 per person, depending on how well they sell) Location: Circuit of the Americas Germania Amphitheater (exact directions and parking instructions will be provided) What to wear: per venue rules–shorts or pants preferably black (not denim and no holes), nothing with words, logos or prints; we will hand out shirts printed with menus when you arrive. Who we are: Daniel and Jenn Northcutt, owners of Hawk’s Hot Chicken, NCT Culinary (a Food and Beverage Production Company), and Hawktails Mobile Bevvies (a Ready-to-Drink Mobile Beverage Sales Company). What you need to apply: Availability and transportation TABC certification up to date and sent to us W9 form to work as a subcontractor (found on IRS website or email us if you need one) Ability to carry at least one case of drinks in a service box or pull a cooler on wheels with ice and product SALES EXPERIENCE–you keep your own tips so be prepared to actively sell (example “Cold beer right here!” in a friendly, warm manner; approaching people in lines at other bars; positioning yourself in a good spot for either sales or promotion for later sales) Email us at [email protected] if you meet the above requirements, with your TABC and W9 attached. ***This is a Hawking job, not a bartending job - please arrive prepared to HAWK***
