Small, well established company in Winston-Salem is currently in need of a full-time warehouse/office worker. This is a permanent position. Candidate interviews begin 8/1/2022. Responsibilities include: Receiving incoming shipments. (No unloading of trucks. Our employees aren't allowed to load or unload trucks.) Prepare and ship outgoing product. Verifying and organizing incoming inventory. Inspecting and repacking products sent in for the purposes of disposal. Filing Data Entry Building cleaning. (Not the daunting task you’d imagine) Any additional duties as assigned by supervisor. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM - No nights, weekends or overtime. Starting Compensation: $18.00/hour Benefits: Two weeks paid vacation annually. Increases to 4 weeks in 2-3 years. One week of paid sick time annually. Ten paid holidays including two days at Easter and two days at Thanksgiving. Company usually closes from Dec. 24 - Jan. 3. This is additional paid time off and doesn't use your vacation time. Paid full family coverage Blue Cross/Blue Shield medical insurance. No employee contribution. Benefits begin after a successful 60 day probationary period. The successful candidate will: Be looking for a full-time position. Have the ability to manage your time while working independently. Be able to consistently lift up to 60lbs. and carry up to 40lbs. Most lifting is 20-30lbs. Have the ability to move skids weighing up to roughly 1200lbs using a manual pallet jack. Be proficient enough in Excel to preform data entry functions. (Creating charts, graphs or mailing lists not required) Experience shipping via the FedEx website is helpful but not required. Have verifiable personal and job references. At least two of each. Be able to pass a criminal background check. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. For consideration respond to this post with your resume and cover letter as attachments.
