The Emigsville Band has been providing musical entertainment to the York area community since 1878! If you are a concert band musician of ANY age, we invite you to join! Piccolo, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, French horn, trumpet, cornet, trombone, baritone, euphonium, drums, xylophone, tuba, and Sousaphone players are all welcome! The Emigsville Band welcomes all York, PA musicians ranging in age and musicality. We play music from Broadway show tunes to movie medleys to contemporary pieces like songs by Journey, Queen, the Beatles, Pharrell Williams, and others! Practices are held at the Emigsville Band Hall in York (3175 N. George St.) February - May, on Mondays from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Prospective members are welcome to sit on practices before joining.
