Description
Permanent, part-time seasonal worker to help maintain the Birchwood, a non-profit, 7-acre woodland garden in Montgomery, Vt.
Work includes:
* Careful mowing of garden paths and edging shrub masses with self-propelled walk-behind mulching mower.
* Removing fallen branches and small piles of weeds and brush with wheelbarrow.
* Weeding.
* Pruning.
Landscaping experience not necessary--can easily train the right person.
Approximately 4-8 hours per week, April-October. Your choice of workdays; weekends fine.
Ideal candidate will take pride and pleasure in helping make a beautiful ornamental garden the best it can be.
$15-25/hour depending on performance.
