NOW HIRING for the 5D Maintenance Team in Grand Rapids, MI Part time position available. 5D Tropical is looking for someone to service the Aquarium Department of 24 stores in Grand Rapids, MI The maintenance you will provide to the stores will include but is not limited to: • Checking and logging water parameters (equipment provided to you) • Checking the water level of the sumps • Proper function of filters and lights • Checking and noting the condition of Male Bettas in cups • Checking, noting and taking pictures of any fish with signs of illness • Removing debris from skimmers • Cleaning the inside of the tank with an algae scrubber (up to 36 tanks) • Checking and taking a picture of the log sheet of losses Each visit should take approximately 30 minutes. Each store needs 2 visits per month. You will make your own schedule and can visit the stores any day/ time that works for you We would like lots of pictures of each visit so a smartphone is required. We will provide training but basic knowledge in fish keeping is needed. This would be an independent contractor position and you would receive a 1099. There is NO additional pay for mileage as it is included in the salary, and you are required to have your vehicle properly insured.
