This week we are at the Orange County fair in NY with the carnival Rides and we need a good manager of people. You would need to be ready to travel with us. Job can be eased into for the next few weeks. Our crew has 70 people or more and they need a go to person for questions and job assignments. The manager will coordinate with owner and managers to assist with: *Payroll- keeping honest hours for crew *Break assignments for operation *Making sure crew is in top visual condition with shaving, uniforms, hygiene etc so they are presentable to the public always * During setup, making sure the tasks get accomplished for ride setups, ready for state inspections, rides getting cleaned, mechanical issues are made known to ride managers * During operation - crew needs to be assigned to appropriate ride or task for their skill level, crew needs to show up on time, ready to work. * During takedown- crew needs assignments to appropriate rides. *Coordination of off time for crew, bus laundry runs, bus grocery runs and driver coordination. * You should understand the basic mechanics of equipment and the psychology of people. The job is hands on with crew, but your people skill is most important. And there’s more details. We need a good Sgt, eventually you’ll be the Lt.
