DANBURY, CT — One family was displaced and one resident was critically injured by a fire at their townhouse Wednesday morning, the Danbury Fire Department is reporting. Firefighters were called the Sterling Woods Townhouse complex off of Nabby Road at 8:14 with a report of a garage fire. First responders found a column of heavy smoke, prompting a second alarm. Crews battled a large amount of fire from the garage of a 2 ½ story wood frame condo end unit, requiring a third alarm response, according to the DFD.
