Looking to start a classic rock band

Looking to start a classic rock band in Port Charlotte. I'm a guitar play (lead and rhythm) with strong backing vocals (some saxophone). I have a place to rehearse just off Midway and the 41. I'm wanting to do songs that pack the dance floor (all the way from 60s thru current - but probably mostly 70sn and 80s and 90s. So they are going to be mostly well known songs - though I want the whole band to choose the setlist once all members are in place. Because it is nice to bring back some songs that everybody has heard, but haven't heard for a long time). I tend to play things a little heavier but I still play stuff by Tom Petty, etc.. to get people up on the dance floor. My style is more like Aerosmith, Motley Crue.... I like big harmonies so being able to sing backup vocals is a definite plus. The other thing is I want to play out a lot - at least most Fridays and Saturdays (so if you only want to play a couple times per month this band will not be for you). I need a bass player, drummer, lead vocalist (male or female) and a keyboardist or 2nd guitar (though I'm not opposed to being just a 4 peice, but prefer a 5 piece). I'm brand new to the area - I just moved here a few weeks ago from Michigan. Looking forward to meeting some local musicians!
