Description
Four-piece rock band looking to add a solid bassist with good chops.
The line up is currently Vocalist (keys/acoustic guitar), two electric guitars (one is backup vocalist), and a drummer.
Starting out with covers but will probably add in some originals down the line.
We all have songwriting/recording experience but focusing on being a good live band first.
We want the bass to be an integral and "heard" part of the band.
Have to be able to play songs like Sweet Emotion and material from RHCP.
Pick playing is fine for some stuff, but someone who can also play fingerstyle/slap
is what we're after.
Currently practicing in Newport News by CNU on Wednesday evenings. We’re in our late 20’s-early 30’s. Preferably looking for someone in the 21-35 age range but age isn't really a deal breaker if we mesh well. We're adults with jobs looking to have fun and see where it goes.
We're a chill group who does their homework with realistic aspirations.
Some songs to start with:
Weezer - Say it Aint so
Ramones -I wanna be sedated
RHCP - Can't Stop
Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta
Thanks,
Matt
