Need Special Needs Caregiver

We are seeking a caregiver who is able to work in the home with our 13-year-old son. He is diagnosed with cerebral palsy and requires assistance with feeding, bathing, medicine distribution, and changing. Ideally we are looking for someone who can fit in comfortably with our family of six. Hours would be weekends and Mondays at a minimum. There would be opportunities for more hours if desired. My son’s name is Oliver and while he has great difficulty with fine and gross motor skills, he is very bright and has an amazing sense of humor. He loves games and we would love to find someone that has a similar affinity towards games As you can imagine, my son doesn’t have many opportunities to make friends and his caregivers end up being the people that he is closest to. He is nonverbal but uses an eye gaze computer to communicate. He also has a power chair for mobility. I’m probably more than a little biased but I believe there aren’t.many funnier or sweeter 13-year old out there. Also, he has fantastic taste in music and always curious to learn about new bands. Requirements of attendant are that they are over 18, have a high school degree, and able to pass a background check. Rate would be between $16 and $25 an hour based on experience.
