Singer needed for alt rock cover band

Hello! We are four guys in our late 40s playing music and needing a singer (any gender works for us). Here’s our brief story: We all had our “music glory days” of playing tons of shows and opening for big acts (one of us was a touring musician back in the day). These days, we’ve settled into our families and careers… but we still love to play music. We’re a standard group of two guitars, bass, and drums. Two of us are multi-instrumentalists (guitar & drums, guitar & bass). We can all sing a little backup but not lead. We’re only doing covers, and our ambition would be to play some small shows in the DFW area… but even if we don’t do that, just playing music is its own reward. We play anything from the 70s through today… Classic rock, alt rock, pop rock, reggae, whatever… we’ll give anything a shot. In our short time together (about a month), we’ve worked up 15-20 songs we feel would sound pretty darn good in front of a crowd. In another couple of months, we could easily be a house band at a local bar (yes, we know an owner, haha). We have a rehearsal studio with a PA and plenty of room to get down. We have in-ear monitor capabilities through our mixing board so we don’t have to turn everything up to the max. Our studio is in North Richland Hills. We practice twice a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays (depending on our schedules). If you’re with us, you’re equal to everyone else. You’ll be a full member of the team. Either we all eat or none of us eat, if that makes sense. Our top priority is personality. If you’re a good person and not a diva, but your singing is a little limited, we don’t care. Being a good fit in our little group is most important. This is a low-pressure environment. We’ve got jobs and families and we’re patient while you get up-to-speed. So, do you want to have fun?
