If you have previous experience doing finely-detailed work such as sewing, knitting or cable assembly, then this full-time, temp-to-hire Assembly position could be the perfect opportunity for you. Currently, a well-known fiber optic cable manufacturer is looking to add to their growing cable assembly team. They are experts at building network rooms and servers, and the work you’ll do will impact the company’s success No previous experience required! This is an entry-level position. However, you will be required to pass a wire assembly test to help determine if it's the right fit for you. Unlike other assembly jobs, you will be paid to learn – and you can listen to music, an audio book or a podcast while you work! Day and Swing Shift schedules are available. Assembly Job Duties: • Measuring and cutting lengths of fiberglass wire • Assembly of wire and connector pieces • Threading fiber wire through color-coded plastic casing • Packaging product • Lifting, bending, twisting and moving product up to 25 lbs • Standing for duration of shift (8 hours/day) Schedule: Day & Swing Shifts • Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm • Swing Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm Pay Rate: • Day Shift: $17.00 per hour • Swing Shift: $17.35 per hour Location: Kent, WA • FREE Parking • Not bus accessible This Entry Level Cable Assembly position is available through TERRA Staffing Group.
