A progressive, pro-abortion group has put a bounty on the six conservative Supreme Court justices. ShutDownDC offered $50 to people who harass any of the justices who voted in the majority to uphold the Mississippi law, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization that led to overturning Roe v. Wade. In a 6-3 decision on June 24, the court upheld the Mississippi law that bans abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy, and ruled that the Constitution does not enshrine a right to an abortion, and that the issue belongs with the states. 18 U.S. Code § 1507 – Picketing or parading reads: Whoever, with the intent of interfering with, obstructing, or impeding the administration of justice, or with the intent of influencing any judge, juror, witness, or court officer, in the discharge of his duty, pickets or parades in or near a building housing a court of the United States, or in or near a building or residence occupied or used by such judge, juror, witness, or court officer, or with such intent uses any sound-truck or similar device or resorts to any other demonstration in or near any such building or residence, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both. I'm pretty sure this would include harassing a Supreme Court judge. Biden continues to condone that the Court justices don't have the right to go out in public and enjoy a meal at their favorite restaurant. I wonder how other patrons feel about having their dinner interrupted by protesters?
