We are a local East Bay area electrical company looking for an experienced Solar installer with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Job Description: We are in search of a PV installer in the East Bay area with the proper experience to perform the following duties. Effectively work in a team to install and seal roof attachments, equipment racking supports, and solar panels. Perform all construction tasks per manufacturer’s installation guidelines. electrical wiring of solar array/system (DC and AC) in addition to installing raceways around residential applications including roofs, attics, and walls. Troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment Maintain and clean up the job site. Must have a standard hand tool set (such as screwdrivers, channel locks, conduit bender, volt meters, impact and drills, and hole saws) Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds Comfortable wearing harness and working on the roof. Comfortable using ladders and working with heights and on flat roofs. comfortable working in attics and crawl spaces to run conduit and wires. Comfortable working outdoors for prolonged periods in varied weather conditions.
