Looking for lead, bass, and drums for indie project

Duluth GA

Description

Hello, I have a handful of riffs and progressions I’d like to develop, and I’d like to write some new material to eventually record and play out with. I know a lot of people just want to have fun—which is cool—but I want to make some art and squeeze into the local scene. It’s a bit of folk-rock, shoegaze, and dream-pop mashup. Has some Bon Iver, Phoebe Bridgers, Radiohead, and Andy Shauf vibes. Sometimes a subtle old-school country sound pops up. I’m in my early 30s if that matters to you. I’ve been at this for a while, so it would be nice to work with musicians who have experience. I can sing and write, but it’s a bit unconventional, so if you can sing and write well, that’s welcome. Looking for: lead - not looking for a guitar god at all, but someone who has a great sense of composition, catchy melodies, and texture; bass - big plus if you know who Eben D’Amico is; and drums - ideally someone who knows how to hang back and has a knack for being creative with restraint. Transitions are a weakness of mine, so if you are pretty good with that, I think we could come up with some sexy stuff. I have a large space to jam, write, and record roughs, but it’s 30 minutes north of downtown Atlanta (Duluth). I’m cool with driving for the right project and songs. Let me know if this might be something you’re interested in. I know quite a few musicians in the area and have a few resources; just posting to see if something awesome is out there.
