PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POSTING BEFORE RESPONDING! (So many rush without reading) We're a team-oriented shop about a mile from downtown Littleton looking for another new member of our family! We have great clients who are used to a high level of customer service, and a lot of love given to their pets. Check us out at APawSpaLittleton.com We are willing to train the right person, but experience in the grooming salon industry is a huge plus, and comes with a higher wage. Responsibilities would include bathing, drying, and brushing out dogs and cats, customer interaction both in person and on the phone, taking payments, using the computer to record appointments and prices, and helping with daily shop cleaning. A love of animals and patience with them is required, as well as the ability to work as part of a cohesive drama free team, communication skills, and the ability to lift pets in and out of tubs and do moderate cleaning. Pay is negotiable depending on your level of professional experience. ( No grooming salon experience starts at $14.50 with a.50 raise in 30 days, experienced is negotiable + Tips after you have learned the skill approx 6 wks) We believe in rewarding those who work hard, so there are plenty of opportunities for both raises and advancement, if you are interested in a career in this field. This position would be 25-30 hrs for part time and 40 hours a week for full time, you let me know what your availability is and will try to work around. If you prefer to just work afternoons, 1-5:30 is available for a receptionist closer position. I am a small business and can not deal with a lot of absences. PLEASE be aware of that.
