Virginia recently revised its policies for incarcerated individuals regarding time served/good behavior, and made the policy retroactive. This means that we will see a large influx of previously incarcerated folks returning home to SWVA. This has the potential to have a great impact on businesses in the region, especially those that are struggling with the dwindling labor force numbers.
