G. Fried Flooring and Design is a very well known flooring retail company located on Route 17 in the heart of Paramus, NJ for the past 44 years. We are looking a strong, driven and well organized person for our new Warehouse Manager position. The person we are looking for must have the ability to organize and manage our entire flooring warehouse in Paramus, NJ. This warehouse manager must be willing + capable of heavy lifting and also we prefer you are bi-lingual (Spanish-English) to assist our warehouse team in their daily duties. Your Responsibilities will Include (but not limited to): - Vacuum, Clean and Organize the flooring showroom and building every morning - Receive and unload Flooring Materials (by hand) from delivery trucks - Open, Inspect and Measure Flooring to get ready for installations - Pull and Stage Carpet, Padding and Flooring (by hand) for upcoming installations - Follow a daily to do list on what needs to be done for that day - Maintain and Inventory List of Padding and other items - Handle returns process for carpet that comes in defective - Put Showroom samples back and maintain a clean storefront throughout the day Must keep the showroom and work areas clean Must be reliable and on time every day Must have a clean and neat appearance We prefer Bi-lingual (spanish-english) Must understand the basic workings of technology/computers ****MUST BE CAPABLE OF LIFTING HEAVY ROLLS OF CARPET AND BOXES OF WOOD FLORING EVERY DAY**** Workday 8:30am-5pm Monday - Friday. Sometimes overtime will be available BUT is always optional.
