Description

FEATURE SYNOPSIS: Konrad (Jurgen Prochnow), a grumpy elderly man mourning the loss of his wife, catches a young girl named Thurba, on the run to avoid deportation, sneaking into his basement for shelter. Thurba needs to get to England and Konrad needs to decide whether or not to help. His resentment of immigrants and refugees transforms into a caring relationship, as he befriends this beset-upon young girl. Shorts program begins at 7:00 PM, followed by a brief intermission, and concludes with the feature film, A Handful of Water. General admission tickets provide entry to all films in the session.
