The purpose of the 2nd amendment was to maintain a well regulated militia. Currently, we're not well regulated. First, we require firearms courses for regular citizens. Then you get a firearms endorsement on your driver's license or state ID after being trained and vetted by police. With that, we register all weapons and put an annual fee on each weapon. AR 15 style weapons with more than 10 round magazines have a $500 yearly fee for non-military or police citizens. Possession of a "ghost gun" is a $10,000 fine and confiscation. If you lose your license for DUI or commit a violent offense, you lose firearm endorsement. If you own a military style weapon, you can surrender it and receive a tax credit for it's retail value, should you be unable to afford license fees. It's just common sense. Selling military weapons at Walmart got us where we are now, killing babies with guns! Stop it now pro life ppl!
