In alignment with Compound's mission to support small businesses and Long Beach's diverse communities, we are excited to host Kala, a pop up food vendor & caterer specializing in farm fresh cuisine.Kala will be serving brunch at Compound each Sunday June - August (excluding July 3).Drinks are available for purchase including: Beer & Wine, Mimosas, Bloody Marys, Micheladas.Coffee by Fifth Year Coffee RoasterMusic by dublab's: DJ Lady CNote: Reservations are optional but requested as they inform our food partners on how much to prepare. A reservation does not guarantee availability.Kala explores how food can be used as a medium for a positive impact on the self, community, and planet. We take the artistry, science, and intuition of cooking and relate it to guests with the hope of showing them that truly food does not have to be expensive, inconvenient, or complicated. Good food is for everyone, and by making good food choices, we can make a huge impact on our own wellbeing, community resilience, and planetary health.
