Description

Seminar with Dai Shihan Pete Reynolds The Bujinkan Kakure Yama Dojo is pleased to host Dai Shihan Pete Reynolds, a longtime resident of Japan. Pete heads the Fudoushin Bujinkan Dojo, focused on studying, exploring and sharing the martial arts of Hatsumi-sensei. Fudoushin "不動心" means "immovable spirit or heart" and is a concept that Hatsumi-sensei has consistently talked about throughout the years. It's a state of true inner strength and stability that comes from experience and from truly knowing oneself. It is only from a state of fudoushin that one can become zero and that one can hope to attain true peace and happiness.   Originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, Pete has been training in the Bujinkan since 1986.  In 2000, he moved to Japan, where he lives and trains in the Tokyo area.  Over the years, he has received numerous awards from Soke Hatsumi, including the Bujinkan Gold Medal, Bujinkan Buffu Ikkan Award, and Daishihan.  We are extremely honored to welcome him to the dojo for this unique training opportunity. EVENING ACTIVITIES: To provide ample opportunity to socialize with the instructors, we will have dinner at a local restaurant shortly after training.  Crash space is available with students at the dojo on a first come-first served basis. Information regarding crash space, local hotels or accommodations is available on request.
