My pup needs HELP

Description

A year ago around Thanksgiving, I rescued a female Golden Shepard from the side of the highway that was approximately 9 months old. She was wet, freezing and emaciated. I brought her home with no intention of keeping her. A young man I knew who was depressed, lonely and also seeking a pet was the intended adopted parent. He has a great job and fell in love with her. The problem was she didn’t take to him. He really tried. She wasn’t aggressive or anything but she wouldn’t leave my side. I couldn’t send her away. She’s not fond of men though again, not aggressive. She loves other pets, and kiddos. I am disabled and though I can afford to feed her and her general care, I cannot afford to take her to the vet. I attempted to make an appointment with Aggieland Himan Society to get her shots, tags and spay at a reduced cost but their funds are evidently limited and I couldn’t set up an appointment. So it’s been a year that she’s been with me. And I tried again in February or March to get her in but there were no available appointment slots. She has contracted what appears to be mange which I am trying to treat at home. But tonight when bathing her I noticed a fairly large lump just behind her left front leg. I worked for a vet many years ago and this feels tumor like. I bathe her about once a week and hadn’t noticed this until now. She has also developed a slight cough occasionally. I need to get her in to a vet. And can’t afford to. She has become such a devoted part of my life. I had no intention of taking and keeping an animal I couldn’t afford. But she’s here. And she needs help. If anyone reading this would be willing to help us, I will provide all veterinary documentation for services and treatment. Or, you’re welcome to come a long or even just pay the vet directly so you know this is legitimate. My girl just needs help. Any help you could provide would be deeply appreciated. Sadly I would even consider re-homing her for the right person. Sincerely, Sayge and K
