I live here in Henderson and have been having some health problems. First, I went from work to the hospital for a heart problem. Then after about ten days back home, I returned with the same problem, plus pneumonia and COVID-19. My case worker informs me that I am responsible for 20% of the costs of my hospital stay starting 6/25/2022. To make matters worse, because of my positive COVID-19 test, my wife Shawna is off work without pay. So our bills are piling up, and we are not earning anything to pay them. I wanted everyone to know the love and support have really made a big difference. Thank you to all of you for your help. It gives me hope for our species that people will jump in when they see someone in need. My recent experience has shown me how much love there is around me. Sadly I never really noticed it until this happened. If I can get through this, it will be with a different view of what matters and how much I am loved. Again, thank you all.
