"Let's start with the end of the world, why don't we?” Now that we have your attention, join Dr. Andre Samuel, along with other members of our PGH STE(A)M Workgroup, at the new Remake Learning Book Club! That intriguing opening line can be found in this year’s book choice–The Fifth Season, a science fantasy novel by African American author, N. K. Jemisin. On July 28, from 4-6:30 pm, we’re kicking off the book club with a happy hour at The Citizen Science Lab. A copy of The Fifth Season will be distributed to everyone in attendance. Book club discussions will be held every Thursday in August, from 4:30 - 6:00 pm, at the Hill CDC. Light refreshments will also be served.
