Description

Come learn a trendy yet simple Japanese style of arranging flowers named Ikebana. In Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging, blossoms, branches, leaves, and stems find new life as materials for art-making. In contrast to the western habits of casually placing flowers in a vase, Ikebana aims to bring out the inner qualities of flowers and other live materials and express emotion. Byron is going to teach you how to create your own Ikebana inspired design. You can then use the techniques you learn to create other pieces on your own. This is a BYOV (BRING YOUR OWN VINO) design class (wine only please, 21 and older). Light snacks will be offered. Space is limited and these classes sell out, so sign up early to ensure your spot. Register with a friend for twice the fun! Also makes a unique & thoughtful gift. Registration fee of $60 includes everything you will need to create your masterpiece. Don't forget the vino! What a great way to welcome the new year!
