Drums and Bass wanted. About us: We are guitar/vocals, piano, trumpet. We play multiple styles of music. Age range late 20s-early 30s. Rehearse in Carson City 2-4x/month. Two of the three of us are music teachers, we are all in multiple groups. About the project: The goal is efficiency and making income. One rehearsal, two different groups (open to being more groups in the future, but two is a good place to start.) Band one is a jazz band, playing real book standards. Band two is folk/rock originals and covers. Other groups we are open to in the future would be country, blues, dance band, or other...? (whatever we see where there is a need to be filled - this will be a group effort) The idea is that with more styles of music, we have more venues we can play, same with flexibility of being a trio to quintet. Marketability is the name of the game, and sights are set on as many realistic local possibilities as possible, not the stars. About you: You can already read real book charts(or quick learner), are open to different styles of music, have a sense of professionalism, are an intermediate player wanting to grow as a group, want a group that prioritizes playing paying gigs, but has realistic goals.
