COMPANY American Property POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Tech will travel among a group of properties in Kitsap County repairing and maintaining apartments, office spaces, storage facilities, and industrial spaces.  Must send resume with references. SALARY $4,000 per month - Full-time Monday to Friday, off hours by emergency only Est 2/3 time spent in Bremerton BENEFITS Medical, Dental, Vision insurance Company phone ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Communicate effectively with multiple people at multiple properties Respond to work orders Courteous of tenants Turn apartments between rental periods (Painting, carpet, cabinets, lighting, plumbing, flooring) Light electrical demand Light pluming demand Appliance repair Drywall repairs Mow lawns, fertilize, coordinate landscapers as needed Clean parking lots of debris Spread ice melt as needed Maintain clean, neat, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors Maintain community equipment and ensure equipment is functioning properly Observes and helps resolve problems that relate to the community and the grounds. · Avoids loss, breakage, and waste of supplies and equipment Maintain records of resident repairs and works performed Schedule trades as needed Attend and participates in required meetings REQUIRED A high school diploma or equivalent preferred 1 year maintenance, construction or related trade Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Proficient on computers with abiilty to use email, text, MS Word, Excel, and other like programs Maintain a calendar Ability to work independently Ability to relate positively and communicate appropriately with tenants, fellow employees and management Drivers License Non Smoking Company Firt Aid & CPR certified Pass a background check and drug testing Climb stairs, climb ladders, lift more than 50 lbs, kneel, squat, and walk for 8 hours Maintain a presentable and clean appearance.
