Hi, we are The Deck Shop LLC Based out of Lakewood/Tacoma area. We are looking to immediately hire for Deck and Fence installers as well as top tier Foreman. The Role: Foreman: We build amazing decks and fences. You job is to bring the project to reality. You take over from the estimator and put the plan together on delivering the promise given to the customer. You verify materials and plans. Place and coordinate material purchases and deliveries. They will do everything in their power to set the install crew up for success. They are a problem solver the crew can count on. They are support for the customer when they need someone they can trust. In this role you will: - Be a leader! (Leading, Managing, and Accountability) - Have a good relationship with all crews - Work with the estimator and customer to really get to know the job! - Take the idea and info from the customer/estimator and turn it into a build-able plan - Calculate and set hours and timeline for the project. - Work closely with the install crew, making sure the project goes as smoothly as possible - Be the “person” the customer can call at any time with any question, and help them - Schedule projects, satisfying both customer and the companies needs. - Be able to “be there” for customers/install crews on evenings/weekends regarding the project or schedule In this role you must: - Team Player - Problem Solver - Go Getter - Great communication skills Realistic ideas of this position: - High stress - job success is riding in your shoulders - High pressure - crews rely on your work being done - Dealing with unhappy customers at times - Interrupted frequently throughout the day - Pressure to make quick and good decisions Compensation - $50,000 - $100,000+ This depends on skill set and ability. In this Job You Will... - Follow foreman’s instructions and help crush timeline and budgeted goals! - Work with the crews, lead by example - Do what it takes to make sure your teammates are having fun, staying motivated, and feel supported - Quarterly conversations with foreman and installers - Train new products, and standards - safety meetings and training Measurables: - Attitude & quality of work - Timely completion of tasks - Positive Customer experience - Progress of individual crews Compensation: We’re not going to ask you to take a pay cut!
