I live in North East Minneapolis, and commute into Tonka Bay to drive bus for First student. I'm a retired Engineer. The drive is 25 miles, the last two years I've stayed with a fellow bus driver, who (unfortunately) "passed on" this spring.
I found this very useful because so many places were "closed down". I can go back to haunting the coffee shops. However my experience with the fellow I was staying with, worked out well. I was able to do lawn mowing, raking, snow removal and general "handy man" work around that home.
My schedule is such that I usually do an hour and 1/2 of exercise (running or cycling) after getting done with bus driving (which finishes at 10AM for the morning runs).
I'm hoping that someone who finds themselves "taking care of a home" alone these days, might find it advantageous to have an active visitor during those times. I can and will provide references on request.
