GUITARISTS!
Seattle Yacht Rock Tribute Band Seeking Crewmate!
We need a lead guitarist who can shred like Steve Lukather, play fingerstyle like Lindsey Buckingham... and everything in-between. Bonus points if you can lay down some sweet harms with us.
Your age or gender are unimportant as long as you love 70s/80s soft rock (we prefer to call it "Soft Rock with a Stiff Breeze") and can commit to (about) once-a-week rehearsals in the Ballard area.
We are an established band with several gigs lined up for the Summer. We typically play private parties, festivals and the occasional club show. Casinos gigs are a possibility in the fall and winter. Are you tired of playing for two drink tickets and a small cut of the door (if you're lucky) How does $300+ in your pocket after every gig sound?
Our set is currently about 40 songs ranging from Steely Dan to Captain & Tennille, Toto to Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac to ELO, Genesis to Rod Stewart, and lots of areas in-between. We try to play all the favorite soft rock 70s hits as well as some deep cuts, and we rock them up a bit - avoiding slow/sleepy numbers of the era, and stuff that every other cover band already does. We like to keep it fresh and keep that dance floor packed.
This band really grooves and the audience eats it up. We have a lot of fun on stage and off. Good people all around. You should be too.
Please have some audio/video samples for us to check out before we meet up. We will share video samples with potential candidates.
