Bloodhound/blue tick coonhound searching for forever family

Description

Winston Wallace, a 1 and a half year old hound baby, is searching for his forever family! We are heartbroken to have come to the conclusion to re-home him. Unfortunately, due to changes in homing, we find it in Winston's best interest to find a home and family that can provide time for him and space for him to run. Considering his breed, the home we have relocated to simply isn't fit for his size and energy level. I (his mother) have had to return to work full time and no longer have someone at home to care for him as often as needed. Also, moving to my townhouse with limited yard space seems so unfair to him. I take him to the dog park as often as possible but I just don't believe that is quite enough for him. I want to see him in a happy and attentive environment where he has the opportunity to share his loving and kind personality while also being able to run free at times or at least be somewhere with a fenced in back yard so he can enjoy the nature as hounds naturally love to do. Winston is up to date on all of his shots (I can provide his records). He is not neutered..I was advised to wait until he is two (October 20th) to proceed with that process if wanted. He is a high energy dog that needs to run and play. Maybe someone that loves hiking or nature in general would be a nice fit. He is great with other dogs and cats. Very friendly. Also great with kids..he would thrive in a family atmosphere. He is, at this time, around 90lbs. So full grown will probably be around 100. There will be a re-homing fee simply because of his breed and because I want to make sure he is going somewhere where he will be properly cared for. Email or text/call me for photos/more information. Thank you for your interest!
