Anyone know of a rescue for pitbulls

Hello. Huge animal lover here - we have a bunch of rescue dogs and in fact I volunteer for a local rescue organization. Today while I was out working in the yard, a car drove by and threw out a pit bull puppy out of the car right down the embankment in front of our home. People suck. Dogs are great. Would love to find the dude a good home, but every place I call is swamped with too many animals. Would prefer not to take to the shelter as I know what happens there. Please don’t reply with awful things, if you feel the need spend that energy getting yourself help and improving your life. Helpful suggestions only please. Thank you.
