We have to rehome our female Docker, she is 15 months old, 19 pounds. Up to date on all shots/vaccines (I have all vet records for you), up to date with flea and heartworm protection (last given 7/1/22), she is fixed, no health issues, crate trained, walks well on a leash, rides well in the car, does good with our small kids ages 3 and 8, gets along with our other small dog, but does get jealous when we give the other dog attention. She is happy at home with her known family members, but with strangers, she growls and is nippy; I have not seen her bite anyone, but I also haven't allowed her the chance; we use a muzzle to go to the vet, but not other places, like to visit friends or family. When we first got her at about age 4 months, she would growl every time we approached her for about the first 2 days, as she was in an abusive home before we adopted her. It didn't take her long to adjust to her new home and accept and feel safe with us. She is very loving, but pushy, she wants to be attached to you, and would likely prefer to be the only dog in a household with light traffic in and out since she is stranger-shy, with an owner who has patience for dogs. In summary, she is sweet but needs a dog lover who is ok with those quirks dogs have. Serious inquiries only.
