Newsflash: Well, no shit it can't be verified. To do so would violate the privacy laws protecting the patient. A health care worker may speak of the circumstances around the case of a patient, but they cannot reveal specifics that could be used to reveal the identity of the patient. They are obviously prohibited from disclosing to identity of a patient.
