Description
Irrigation Technicians install, test, and maintain irrigation equipment including sprinklers, pumps, waterlines, and suction valves. You MUST be willing to get dirty and work in the irrigation field. Irrigation Technicians may also be required to operate heavy machinery for trenching and installing wiring systems for water timers.
Must have your own truck/transportation
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect, program, adjust, and repair irrigation systems as instructed.
Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose sprinkler repairs commercial
Repair and maintain valves, trace electrical components, and installing controllers.
Maintain the appearance and stock for company vehicle.
Proper documentation of work.
Complete 2-4 service calls per day
Maintain trucks, tools and material organized and clean
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of irrigation systems, with a preference of 3+ years.
Valid driver’s license.
Valid Irrigation or Technician license is a plus but not required.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
