Looking to start a post-punk/electronic/experimental project

Hi, Quick background: I'm in my early 30s, used to play guitar in various punk/post-punk bands and then kinda stopped for a bit. Over COVID I acquired some drum machines and synths and samplers and am kind of getting back into writing. I'm still learning how to use some of this stuff, but the learning curve could be part of the fun. Joy Division/New Order, Echo and the Bunnymen, Depeche Mode, Sonic Youth are some influences I have, but I'm open to other avenues and sounds. I'd like to write original music and maybe play live here and there. At this point I'm more interested in the writing/sound design/recording aspect. I have a couple guitars and will likely get a bass soon. Switching around instruments and vocals would be fine and maybe even ideal. If you're interested, let me know!
