THE BASIC OPPORTUNITY: Experienced Garage Door / automated gates Installer service technician · Location: San Diego, Ca · Department: Install/repair/service · Pay: $60K- $100K per year DOE / INTERVIEW Primary Purpose: We are looking for a motivated Garage Door Installer to join our group of companies. you will be responsible for the Installation and service of residential custom garage doors and automated gates. Technicians will travel throughout San Diego county during the day but some will so be required to be on night call for additional pay. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: you will need to be organized, efficient, and have practical problem-solving skills. You will be interacting with our customers daily and having patient and respectful behavior is a must as you are representing our Garage Door company. DAILY ROLES: • Install new garage doors and/or garage door openers for residential customers. • Assemble mechanical components or machine parts. • Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Install springs, sections, or slats. • replace worn or broken door parts using hand tools. • Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair. • Remove parts or components from equipment. • Install hardware or other interior fixtures. • Fabricate parts or components. • Run wiring to connect equipment. • Lubricate equipment to allow proper functioning. • Test mechanical equipment to ensure its functioning properly. • Document operational activities • Collect payments for goods or services. The job requires selling of products and services related to garage door installation. GENERAL: • Must be able to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short notice. • The job environment is fast paced and results oriented. • Be able to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid driver license. • Must pass Drug test, Background check and Motor Vehicle check. Equipment / Tools: • Hand tools and mechanical tools • GPS equipment • Tablet • Truck with Ladder Rack is A BIG PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED! KNOWLEDGE: • Must have 2 years experience in Installation/service/repair of Garage Doors and gates. • Knowledge of computers and tablet use • Knowledge in google search, and Navigation systems is a plus. • Knowledge of hand tools, mechanical tools TRAINING: • we will train to adjust to our products, systems and selling processes BENEFITS: • Fuel Reimbursement, health insurance after 6 month with company, company’s truck/van.
