Found young male pit hound mix?

Found July 3rd. He's a young male I want to say a year and a half to two years old very well behaved he was very well taken care of looks like he was gone for a little while so to how thin he was in his nails were kind of long. Excellent temperament good with cats dogs doesn't matter people. I really wanted to go home so I've held on to him and I plan on holding on to him for a while longer I want him to go home to his family not to a new home but if that's the case that will happen to whatever I got to do but I'd really like him to go to his original family.
