Aloha, Crave working with enthusiastic, athletic folks? Wanna get paid to be around ketogenic/metabolically flexible fanatics, who embrace the island's sustainable food sources? Learn practice proper fasting and recovery techniques for optimal health? This is an outdoor and indoor opportunity to be a field assistant to an eclectic scene. Our Kula tree care service is moving headquarters to 7mins. away over the next 1.5 months. There are no boring moments to be had with this mission. Cross over activities with tree work shall be made as well. There are trees on-site to prune and chip for team-building, training, and proficiency awareness before going out into Contracted Projects. Field Assistant Activities include: - Mobilization of MUSIC ROOM, GYM, ART, Mead Brew Gear, Kitchen, Furniture, Entertainment Center, Plant Nursery, & Tools. - Off-loading and placement of items. - Interior/Exterior Painting. - Organization of materials. - Miscellaneous Fix-It Tasks. TREEWORK - Ground Crew Technician: Protect work zone, collect debris, and deliver to chipper/disposal area. All with technique and finesse. - Protect work space to ensure safety of team, property and public. Be a "spotter." - Communicate effectively with climbers, ground crew, and public to maintain a safe work environment. - Operate machinery inclusive of: Chainsaws, hedgers, blowers. - Operate rigging ropes to safely lower debris to ground. - Use hand saws and pole saws to prune trees from the ground. - Operate and drag debris to woodchipper. - With landscaping: Primarily weed eating, hand weeding and removal of invasive shrubs and small trees, roots and all. Must: - Be punctual with arrival. - Have reliable, independent transportation to and from work. - Be an excellent communicator and have a personal cell phone. - Be physically able to stand on feet for 2 hours at a time. - Have the ability to lift at least 25 pounds. - Be passionate about health and wellness. - Be safety oriented and have a sense of work space awareness.
