I have a female black and white Argentine tegu, she’s a bit feisty due to the lack of time I have to handle her. She does let me touch her and pick her up she hasn’t tried biting me. When she’s hungry it’s when she’s more aggressive but that’s normal for these animals. Definitely look into them if you plan on getting one since they take up a lot of time except when they start to Brumate which is hibernation for reptiles. I don’t have a lot of time that she needs I do have a rehoming fee just to make sure they can take care of her.
