Description

IMPORTANT: Early Bird Tickets are still on sale! Get your discount now while you can. ~~~~ After a Pandemic-filled break, this meetup's having a Harry Potter Trivia! Come prepared for magical fun as we celebrate the birthdays of Neville Longbottom (July 30th), J.K. Rowling (July 31st), and Harry Potter (July 31st). I'll be hosting and can't wait! Early Bird Admission tickets will be $6.00 (which includes Eventbrite's fee), General Admission tickets will be $7.00 (includes the fee), and will help cover prizes and meetup costs. Early Bird Admission only runs through July 18th, so get your tickets early. I love keeping the vast majority of my events free: this small charge allows for that, and for me to give you great prizes! RSVPing on this page doesn't guarantee you a spot until you've purchased a ticket. ~ You can check out our meetup event page here: https://www.meetup.com/harry-potter-seattle/events/287088960/?isFirstPublish=true We'll have 3 rounds with 10 questions each, where all questions will be from the original 7 Harry Potter books. You can be in teams of up to 4 people, so long as you're cool with splitting the prize (which will go to the top 3 teams). This event will be child friendly. The prizes and 2 out of the 3 topics will be announced closer to the event (you can look at our past trivias for photos of similar prizes). For a sneak peek: one of the prizes will include a Platform 9 3/4 Ticket, directly from King's Cross Station, London! This will be at Cal Anderson Park in Seattle's Cap Hill, which is very near the Light Rail Station (it's across the street). I'll post up the exact location closer to the time. If we get unlucky with the weather, the trivia will move to an indoor venue. We'll also most likely be having another trivia around September 1st! We'll start shortly after 3 and there will be short breaks between each round to meet fellow HP fans. Good luck, I hope to see you there! P.S. The strangest perk of being a bestselling author is sneaking your own birthday into the main prophecy and plot...
