I know this is far fetched but here it goes. I am a male registered nurse living in the NYC area working at Memorial Sloan in the pediatric department. I feel like there must be plenty of people in the area that might not need total care, but would certainly benefit from having a nurse in the house. I'll be working full time but would certainly be able to help with managing medications and doing basic assessments. I would be fine buying groceries and even assisting with excursions and trips. I have a dog myself and also would not mind caring for someone else's pet. I would hopefully find someone who can offer me a reduced cost rental space(pet friendly) with my own bathroom in exchange for my services. I do have my own furniture so would need a space big enough for my belongings. I have experience with oncology patients and end of life care. I am known for my great bedside manner and sense of humor. Let me know if you want to work something out.
