He was arrested for kleptomania at a young age. His defense was he took things...literally... His anger and defiance led him to a career as a doctor's office receptionist. Nobody could yell sit down, shut up and show me your insurance card better than Monty. Since he has been able to retire from his occupation, he runs the front office of the gated community in the same manner as he did the many doctors offices. Let's just say, things have not been easy for the residents of Del Vista Boca Leisure Village Phase 3. It's safe to say Monty is not the only one who's happy about his escape from the community. It is said that people from 16 miles away could hear the sigh of relief from the 652 units Cranky Carmichael Cranky Carmichael hails from the rainy city of New Orleans, where it's always hailing. He was born to play the piano. He requested one in the nursery, which is odd since most newborns from New Orleans ask for a harmonica. Cranky spent years playing keyboards for The Captain Kangaroo Show and he taught The Captain from Captain & Tenille how to play keyboards. When they divorced, Cranky claimed he was The Captain now. He met Monty at a poker game at Del Boca Vista Leisure Village Phase 3. They got into a fist fight over a pair of 3's. They have been close friends ever since. Les Young No relation to Neil...Diamond or Sedaka. Les represents the Jewish section of Del Vista Boca Leisure Phase 3. The only section with no Christmas lights out until July. Les is so Jewish he had 7 Bar Mitzvahs, even though he was bald with a full gray beard at the age of 12. We found Les at a local Jewish deli returning the Matzoh ball soup because it was too salty. He married a salty girl. The one seen on the Morton's salt container. Les met Monty and Cranky at an AA meeting. He was addicted to Manischewitz. She woke up one day and found herself in the middle of a poker game where she witnessed two grown men fighting over a pair of 3's.
